The main control cubicle circuits consist of the motor bus, generator and the battery bus. Main power units are connected to these buses by means of their associated operating levers and contactors, to provide the various operating combinations. The main generators could be used in combinations of 1,2,3, or 4, for propulsion or battery charging. The massive electrical loads (kiloamps) switched through this cubicle provided some very interesting lightning shows (especially if loads were switched incorrectly).
