This engine is a left hand rotation, vertically opposed type, with two crankshafts (upper and lower), 9 cylinders and eighteen pistons. It has no heads, the pistons work against each other in each cylinder, forming a single combustion space between them at the center of the cylinder. The engine weighed approximately 33,600 lbs.
